New Web Tool for the Lottery World

September 29th, 2009 admin No comments

Have you purchased real lottery tickets or searching for a way to keep track of your prediction numbers? If your answer is yes, then LottoBongo can save you time by pre-validating your numbers and notify you by email once the results are available. If you are somewhere you can’t access the internet, then LottoBongo offers the option to receive your validation by SMS. The new feature is called LottoBongo’s Pre-Draw Tools (means before the lottery draw happens).

All you need to do is to login to LottoBongo with your Facebook Account, go to the Pre-Draw Tools menu, start entering your line numbers and hit the save button. There is really no need to be afraid for your account security as stated in the Facebook Connect FAQ link. Your login and password are all hidden by Facebook for third-party websites like LottoBongo.

Here are other advantages to use the Pre-Draw Tools:

  • simple and easy user interface for data entry instead of typing the numbers (to reduce the number errors like entering invalid numbers)
  • if your numbers are from purchased tickets, you can create group tickets so your friends can also be notified if your group has won any prizes
  • friends in your group tickets can see what are the line numbers that have been bought instead of giving each of them paper copy from the store (save trees)
  • your can keep track of your past numbers saved and see your winning statistics

We really hope you like it or else, let us know your comments, suggestions or questions. Every feedback is important for us to improve!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but development of LottoBongo still goes on. Here is the first screenshot of LottoBongo’s next BIG feature: the Pre-Draw Tools.

We cannot explain what it does for now, but what we can say is this: The Lottery World goes social with Facebook. Stay tuned, the feature will be available shortly.

IE, Chrome bug fixed for LottoBongo Facebook App

July 31st, 2009 admin No comments

With a little search, the LottoBongo Facebook App is back online again. There was a problem with P3P while using Internet Explorer or Chrome. I found the solution here for .NET developers. Hopefully my tests on IE6, IE7 and Chrome (important to use the latest version) are fine. If you still have the bug, please let me know.

IE, Chrome bug using LottoBongo Facebook App

July 31st, 2009 admin No comments

I just noticed that people trying to use LottoBongo Facebook App with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome has this weird refresh bug while with Firefox everything is fine. Whatever link you click, it always comes back to the main page. I will work on this bug and fix it as quickly as possible. Sorry about this, but you know what, this kind of situation makes programming exciting because it is always a challenge to find a solution to whatever bug you encounter :)

Facebook App Launched

July 30th, 2009 admin No comments

I am proud to announce that LottoBongo website has beenĀ  launched! You can access it either as Facebook App at http://apps.facebook.com/lottobongo/ or at http://www.lottobongo.com/. There are only 2 Validator Tools (or also called Lottery Checker) available for the moment and they are for Canada’s Lotto 6/49 and Super 7. I am launching the website because these 2 Validator Tools are working very well with up-to-date lottery results and hopefully, they can already help some people while I work on the US Mega-Millions and PowerBall. Today, LottoBongo has reached its biggest milestone and the development doesn’t stop here. Stay tuned for the upcoming big feature…
